1 YEAR OLD...Better late than never!!

I have waited long enough to post!! I am waiting a few more months to go private because we will be traveling and want our family to be able to view our blog. Mikah is A LITTLE OVER ONE!! I never thought this day would come.. Mikah is such a blessing to our lives. He makes me enjoy the simple things in life all over again. I can never go outside with out playing with sticks looking for bugs and animals. I love feeling like a kid again!! He is my very best friend, and I couldn't ever go a day without him!!! Mikah is walking, but still a little off balance. Mikah is really good at baby signs... he can tell me more, food, milk, bottle, bye bye, night night. He can make animal sounds and point out body parts. He loves food but is very picky!! He likes to pick out his own food, the kid is very opinionated!! Mikah loves to play outside and loves playing ball and sports. Every morning he goes to watch Leo play basketball and just sits in his stroller without making a peep! Everyday we take Dakota on a walk and Mikah has to hold the leash. Mikah loves going swimming.... but has grown to hate the bath tub, oddly enough. Since we are living in Mississippi for a few months we bought him a travel bed, that is a tent. He loves it so much it has been the best thing we have ever bought!! Sometimes he crawls into his room and just gets in his tent. Mikah has five teeth now, and he loves to brush them! Mikah loves books, he could read all day if I let him!! We need to find a local libray, our books are getting really old!! I can't wait to go back home and get moreWe flew here to Mississippi so we couldn't bring alot with us. Mikah loves to throw food and toys, it drives me nuts! I think I clean the kitchen floor ten times a day, if not more. But I love the little monster to pieces. Mikah is a moving machine!! He is crawling and climbing and destroying everything. He weighs 21 pounds. He loves food... but not in the form of mushy baby food. (hates that) His favorite food as of now is strawberries, at the grocery store he wants to eat them as soon as they enter the shopping cart. Mikah loves his mommy.. when I am out of sight he gets really really upset. He says mamma and dada very well. He says mo.. for more. He say da for Dakota which is our dog. They are best friends, Mikah and Dakota play together all the time. Mikah finally knows the meaning of the word "no". The only time he pretends he doesn't know it is when he is climbing up the stairs!! He is still only has two teeth.. and I am not sure I want him to get anymore.... anytime soon!!! He loves to brush his teeth, only with adult tooth brushes! Mikah loves sports.... which is a really good thing cause his dad does too. Mikah kicks soccer balls, makes baskets in his bball hoop, and can play pass. He loves to swim, in Puerto Rico we couldn't keep him out of the water he loved it so much. He also loves to dance, he puts his hands above his head and bounces up and down when he hears music and when he is sung to he claps his hands. In Puerto Rico Mikah was in deep sleep on my lap against my chest, Riahanna song comes on and Mikah wakes up immediatly and starts dancing.... really funny. Well thats our little man in a nut shell... I will post Puerto Rico soon!!

Wow.. Where do i start this month, so much has changed.. Besides Mikah being sick alot this past month. He is crawling all over the place and getting into everything!! He has one bottom tooth that has broken the surface. He also loves food, any kind!! He is eating alot of different solid foods. Finally likes riding in the car, maybe cause we got a new car?? I think he can see out the windows now and doesn't get board and just quietly falls a sleep. Mikah doesnt really like his pacifier anymore. This is a love hate situation!!! Mikah gets the chills when he pees, ever since I switched to cloth diapers he does this.. its really funny to watch! Oh did i mention he found a new toy.. his little boy part... One night we were changing Mikahs diaper, he started playing with his...... you know what... and I said really load."Hey what are you doing" he shrugged hos shoulders and started giggling. He is a true boy! Mikah is pulling himself up on furniture, but gets scared if he stands up to long because he doesn't want to fall. Mikah can say Ma ma as of last month.. Yeah his first word!!!! But last week Mikah, Leo and I were laying in bed one morning and Mikah rolled over to Leo and started to crawl towards him saying Da Da... now he says it all the time!! He is getting so old its crazy!!

My little man is 7 months old already. He needs to touch anything that is in reach. He also says ma ma. I don't know if that's what he means. But it just melts my heart. He can crawl only one steep and then finds its more convenient to roll towards what he wants or to get around. But he has started to pull himself up onto furniture.. He is naughty! He likes anything he can't have, and will cry if it gets taken away. He loves food! He eats anything but likes what mom is eating best. He smiles when I walk out of the room and cries when I leave! I think he weights around 19 pounds. He loves playing in the bath, he could be in there for hours at a time. He loves to be held... STILL. I cook and clean with him in a backpack. He is a really happy baby and we just love him to death.I will post a longer post soon! I just wanted to post this really quick.

Our Vacation

The past few weeks have been crazy. Leo Mikah and I went to visit family on the east coast. Our First stop was Durham North Carolina. Leo sister Carol and her family are there while her husband finishes his last year at Duke. We have not seen them in 10 months so they had never met Mikah. While we were there we went to some really cool kids museums. They made Leo and I wish we were kids again and could actually play with all the cool things they had there. While we were there Elijah our nephew got baptised. It was really special to have most of the family all together. Right before we were about to go to New York to visit Leo's brothers Mikah got really really sick and had a fever of 104. It was so sad to see him that sick.... But after 2 days on Medication he seamed to be getting better so we went to New York. This was my first time to New York and I loved it. I really want to move there cause I miss my cute sister in laws.

Mikah's First Hair Cut

Mikah went to visit grandma Sagebin. Grandma told me that Mikah really needed a hair cut, because it was so wild. I was a little nervous at first, cause he is so young and I loved that he had alot of hair....But it looks so much better now. Out with the JuGle Hair in with a fo hawk!!! Mikah was so good he just sat on the bed amd floor and let grandma cut his hair and use a buzzer. He was so good that after grandma gave him a fruit popsicle that he loved!! He would cry when it was not in him mouth! SPOILED!

Mikah is 5 months old already!! I know I say this every month....but its true! Mikah is 18 lbs 3 oz. and 27.5 inchs long he is huge! I love being a mom, it is so much fun. Mikah loves apple juice and water in a sippy cup. If you take it away he FREAKS out.. Its funny, but sad at the same time. Mikah can sit up with no support, and roll all the way over.Mikahs favorite things to do are... sucking his toe and thumb and blankets or clothing. He always has something in his mouth. He knows that I always put a binky string on him... so mom doesn't lose his binkies.. he always reached down finds it and put it in his mouth. Mikah can also scoot towards his toys on the floor. Mikah loves to be out doors. He loves animals. He loves to feed our dog treats and laughs so hard when the dog eats them, or barks! He loves puppets, and gets really excited when he sees them move. We have not gotten very many pics recently cause we have been really busy back in SLC, but we have a few fun things coming up, that I will post some new pics.

A Day In San Francisco

Leo and I drove to San Fran so Mikah and I could fly back to Utah while Leo finishes his work in Cali.

It was our first real family trip. It was so much fun!! Besides for the fact we didn't have a stroller and Mikah weights alot! We had a great time. The first night Leo took me out for Crab.. Crab is my favorite sea food, but really hard to eat when you have a baby. So Leo ate, then watched Mikah while I got messy! The next day we woke up early and went shopping. While we were out shopping Mikah needed his diaper changed (and his clothes) so at forever21 I went in a dressing room and started to do just that..... then..... a fountain of pee.!!!!! So needless to say we got to buy him some new cute clothes!! I love H&M boy clothes, they are so cute! Every time we go there I end up buying tons of things for Mikah in all different sizes(cause we only go maybe once a year) After our backs were broken from lugging shopping bags and Mikah around the city we went to The Aquarium at the bay. It was neat to see all the fish and sharks in the tunnel walkways. Mikah liked looking at the fishies..It was kinda cold in San Fran! Not Cali summer weather. We ended our night at The Rain Forest Cafe. It was alot of fun, we are going to miss Leo dearly. But, its just a few weeks!!

Life in Cali

We are renting a house in Cali for a month while Leo works. It has been really fun, we live with Jordan and Abby. We love it here, But I really really miss my house! Mikah is almost five months old! He is so big! He has not been to the doc since he was 1 month old, so I am not sure how much he weights.But i know he is one big dude. He is almost sitting up all by himself. He loves our dog Dakota and laughs really hard when ever Dakota comes near him.

Mikah loves baby Einstein. every morning he wakes up and that is the first thing he wants to do. Leo and I don't mind because we get to sleep just a few mins longer!!

We Went on a hike up Fern Canyon, with Abby and Jordan and Anton. It was so beautiful.

Our house! Its in the woods! I think we might find big foot, out here in the Redwood forest. I can't wait till we live in our house... one more month of work then its all fun and games for the next few months!

Leo's Scuba Lessons

Leo and I and baby Mikah are going to Indonesia and Thailand some time next year with my dad. So we need to get scuba certified. My dad gave Leo his first lesson in my parents pool. I have been scuba diving before but leo has not. He was excited, but very nervous, in order to get certified, we need to go scuba diving in a lake in Utah. This was just preping him for what is about to come!! It was really scary doing it in the crystal clear water ocean, I can't imagine how scary it will be in a lake. I can't wait for our trip~!

Mikah and I came back to utah to visit my family cause I missed them dearly! But I don't think I missed them as much as they missed Mikah!! When we got to Utah my mom had the guest bedroom ready for us with a new comfortable matress(the old one sucked!) and new toys and tons of new clothes for baby and I. We were spoiled! It has been alot of fun being here with my family, but we sure miss Leo. So next week we are headed back to Montana only for one more month then we can finally move back to Utah and live in our house! Here are some pics of our vacation so far and there are more to come!

Also Mikah is four months old! Time flys when your having fun! This month has gone by so fast!! Mikah is about 17 lbs. I think.. and He loves to play with toys. He can move around on the floor like a little worm towards toys on the floor. He loves to drink out of my cup!! He loves to sleep, I put him to bed at nine, he sleeps till ten in the morning with only two sometimes three feedings. Them takes a 2 hr. nap at noon! I am glad he likes sleep cause so do I. I gave in and bought a CASE of jean diapers. I think they are so cute! I wish he could wear them all the time! Mikah's favorite person is my little sister Jessie, no matter what mood he is in she can make him laugh or smile! He has his first crush..... Below are some pics. Mikah went swimming at grandmas house for the first time, with my brother steve. He didn't know what to think of it.
WE went on a trip to beaver to go to a rodeo and some races. Mikah loved just chilling in the shade and eating cotton candy!! We had so much fun in utah we are sad to leave. Mikah will miss all his cool toys at grandma's house!

3 months old and The 4th

For the 4th we had a BBQ with some of the guys from Leo's office. It was fun we played tennis and basketball and grilled some delicious food. Even though the weather sucked it was a blast.Dakota even got to play with Wes and Ally's dog Sadie.

Mikah is 3 months old already!! I can't belive it! He is so big he is wearing 3-6 months clothing.. and some are tight! He is a big ball of milk. He continues to love food. My new favorite snack is graham crakers and Mikah really likes them too. I am a naughty mom and let him suck on them! He likes to make spit bubbbles and love to laugh and play all day long. He is definatly a mommy's boy! I am amazed at how fast he is growing and learning. Leo and I love him so so much we are so blessed to have him. Here are so pics of our "big" little man.

I think Leo has been looking forward to this day since the last world cup ended!!! For those of you that don't know Leo loves soccer, not only soccer....but Brazil's soccer team. He has been watching soccer all hours of the day and night, whenever he can catch a game during his busy schedule. The other day Jordan and Leo were trying to find jerseys to wear for all the world cup games. They were very disapointed that they couldn't find any at the sports stores around here. Then later that day Abby and I were at Target to get Mikah some new bottles because DakotaI(our dog) loves breastmilk.... and always finds bottles and chews them!!! He is a weird dog.. anyway we found these jerseys. When the boys came home from work we were in the kitchen cooking with them on. They were so excited, that they had jerseys to wear the next day for the USA game.A few of the guys from one of Leo's offices went to Wing street and watched the game.

They had alot of fun, you can't go wrong when you have sports, pizza, and flat screens in the same room.

This was the first of many world cup parties to come. Brazil plays
Tuesday so I can only imagine what Leo has planned for Tuesday.

Leo is losing sleep, good thing the world cup only lasts 1 month!

2 Months Old.... ALREADY!

Mikah is already 2 months old! It feels like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital! He is such a little ball of JOY (and milk)!!! Mikah is smiling and laughing all the time! He can repeat ah-goo, when we talk to him! I will have to post a video! It will melt your heart. I forgot my camera at home.. and have been trying to convince Leo to buy me a new one!(this may take awhile) this will be camera #3 since we got hitched! So the only pics we have are the ones we take from Leo's Iphone. Mikah is HUGE, today I took him to the doctor and he weights 14lbs 2oz! He has almost doubled his birth weight, of 8lbs 4oz. I think its time for a diet!!! Kidding! He is already filling out or grown out of all his 0-3 months clothes. Mikah still loves to be held all the time and loves falling asleep right next to me!! One of Mikah's favorite things to do is talk to Dad. When Leo talks to Mikah he just strares and smiles for a really long time. Mikah used to have a full head of beautiful hair and now some of it is falling out!! It is really sad. But lets be honest it happens to all men, the older they get the more hair they loose!!!! I will have my dear friend Abby take some pics of Mikah and I will post them, so everyone can see how big he has gotten!This is his POOP face!!

A Day At the River

Well Sunday after church we decided that it would be fun to go fishing! Keep in mind we have THREE couples and ONE fishing pole!!! We went to this little town about 30 mins away. Parked our car in a small farm and walked to the river. It was fun watching Jordan fish for about 20 mins. then we decided we would move on to bigger and better things..... like frog hunting! So Leo put on Jordan's fishing gear and went in a nasty swamp to catch the BABY frogs!!! It was so much fun, we decided to take eight of them home and make a natrual habit for them.

This is what our little Mikah Man did the whole time! I can't wait till we can catch frogs and or fish as a family.

This is how big the frogs are.. so tiny! But they sure did fool us! We took 8 of these noisy things home! They were so noisy we decided that we would hide them in one of the single guys rooms...... one so we didn't have to deal with the load crooks and two cause it was fun to play a prank for a change! I used to play pranks all the time, but I can only pull so many pranks on Leo..

Ok here is our happy dog dakota! He loved being able to be off his leash and run free! He was running for 3 hours straight, chasing all sorts of things! Also this was before he though Jordan was drowing.....

Dakota jumped in the river to save Jordan!! He loves Jordan, and for some weird reason thought he was drowing or something... and came to the rescue! Dakota hates water, so it was a shocking sight, that he jumped in the river. It was fun to see him swim for the first time!

This is the "natrual habit" that the boys made for the frogs, this was much better than the water bottle they called home before.

And let me just say they lived happily ever after, back in the river!!!!

Home on the Range!!

We have finally arrived where Leo will be working for the summer.... It was a long 2 weeks without Leo alone with the baby. But, with all the help from our families, I made it!!! I was a little nervous about driving 9 hours in a car with a baby, but it was not that bad he would wake up to eat and go right back to sleep! It was so nice, usually he hates the car. It has been great, there is lots of outdoor activities and lots of my friends are here, so I have not been board.I(YET). But, Mikah keeps me very busy!! We have been filling our time with walks, shopping and girl talk, and fishing. And in the evenings we hangout and go group dates. It has been alot of fun. Here are some pics of some events..

Our handsome little son, happy as can be in the car!! This is a change! He is getting so big, he used to look like a little doll in his car seat, let me just say he is filling it out!!!!!! He is such a chunk, I love him double chin and all!!!

This is our group date to Cold Stone, It has been really fun. Leo's highschool friends Brett Selzer, and Jordan Bryner are working for him. So he is having a really great time hanging out with them. Poor Brett the fifth wheel. We need to find him a special lady!!!

Mikah's Blessing

Today was a special mother's day. Leo blessed Mikah today! It is such a spirital experiance to have your husband bless your child! It was the best mother's day I have ever had! (since this is my first) i bet it will get better every year though! But here are some pics from this special day. Mikah is getting so big! He is one month old and he weights 11 lbs. 4 oz. the doc said he was off the growth chart, I think my milk is just pure cream!!! Kidding but, he is a chunk, I lovew him and his double chin! He is just a big boy, that loves milk!

My sweet neighbor Jessica offered to do his pictures for free. So I took her up on the offer, cause newborn pics are really expensive. The plan was to give Mikah a bath, feed him lots of milk and then he would fall into a deep slumber so we could move him around, but Mikah had differnent plans. He decided that he wanted to stay awake practically the whole time, this made it difficult to put him in any postion!! But, we made the best of the little bugger, and got some cute ones! Thanks Jessica!!!!!

I know he is almost 1 month old but my brothers friend might do a few more before we leave to Montana, for my mom for mothers day! If I decide to get those I will post those as well!

We have family all over the United States, and my dad in China at the moment, that I promised we would keep posting pictures of Mikah so that they don't miss a beat! ... Mikah is getting so big, he no longer fits in newborn clothes, and he is only 3 weeks old!!! Mikah loves to eat...... sometimes I try and give him a pacifier thinking that he just wants to suck and he FREAKS out, cause there is no food that comes out of the pacifier. He is going to be a chunk, till he starts playing soccer with dad and running off some of this baby fat that he is accumulating! My neighbor took some newborn pics of Mikah the other day, I will post some of them later.

A Day with Dad

Leo has been working like crazy trying to get things ready for the summer. Mikah and I are on house arrest till he is 1 month old, because I don't want him to get sick. So I decided that we needed to enjoy the nice sunny weather, so we took lunch to Leo's office. Leo was so excited to see his little man and wanted him to stay all day. Leo is such a cute dad, he hates leaving Mikah (and me)(HOPEFULLY) for more than five mins. He still is a bit of a baby hog, but lets be honest, I hate putting him down as well. We are finally home from the hospial, although we are having sleepless nights we are just loving our new addition to the family. It is so nice holding a baby that is not attatched to so many monitors. Leo and I are loving learning to be a parent. Mikah is doing well, he just eat sleeps and poops. Mikah refuses to sleep anywhere but on mom or dad's chest. I think that could be a bad habit, but for now I am ok with it because I hate setting him down. I love being a mom, I am so thankful for our little man!

Baby Update

Today Mikah did great and is getting released from the NICU. I get to pick him up at midnight and he gets to come upstairs to our room. Hopefully we get released tommorrow and can go home and spend time with baby Mikah. I feel like he is in baby jail, we can only go and hold him every three hours to feed him. It sucks!!!!! Leo is so cute, he is totally a baby hog, and he admits it. But, I love watching my husband be with the baby, he keeps telling everyone that he is all rainbows and bunnies inside. He loves being a dad! This morning we went to feed Mikah and Leo always wants to burp him and the one time I convince Leo to let me do it, Mikah spits up right in my face and all in my hair. Leo was laughing so hard, because the one time he doesn't hog Mikah, I got a nasty milk shower! Leo and I just hang out and watch the colck till we can go see our baby. But not anymore, we get to go get him in an hour!!!!!!!!!! I am the happiest woman alive, my baby is getting relased from baby jail and he is all mine. I dont have to come up with evil kiddnapping plans anymore, and I can take as many pictures as I want.

Well the only time we can go and spend time with Mikah is when he needs to be fed. Here are some pics that we snuck!!! He was just so cute we could not resist! We will keep updating our blog for our family and friends to know what is going on...
Today Mikah was doing really well he was off the oxygen for a few hours and after I fed him, I guess i put him into a food coma! Not really, but he goes into a deep sleep after I feed him and that is when his oxygen level is low. So they had to give him more oxygen...... I was so sad, cause you go through all this pain to hold your baby in your arms, and now other people have to take care of him. I think he will be in there for a few more days, hopefully not longer. But, I will keep everyone posted on his progress. I am just thankful that my huband holds the priesthood and gave him a blessing. I am thankful that we have our heavenly father to thank for this beautiful child that we have here on this earth with us. We truly are blessed that we are trusted to raise his children in these times. Thank you for all that everyone has done for us, and your paryers.

MIKAH MOLINA SAGEBIN HAS ARRIVED

Our beautiful son has finally arrived. He is so cute!!!!! He has lots of hair and was a big baby 8lbs 4oz, 21 inches long. I am so thankful he is here, leo and I are absolutly in love with him. He was born yesterday at 1:40 pm and I have only got to see him for about 30 mins, because he had to make a trip to the NICU (hopefully not a long one). When he was born he was stuck in the birth canal for a really long time and swollowed some blood, so he had to have his stomach pumped and has not been breathing very high oxygen levels. So when he comes to be with mom and dad we can get more pictures.

He is going to kill me for posting these nude pics when he is older. But its the only pics we have till he gets out of the NICU. There are no pictures of mom, cause I looked like death, after a really long labor and I was dumb and when I was sweating would dump glasses of water on my face!!! Yeah I know I was being crazy! And after the birth I was all tears all night long worried about my baby.

Well, I went to the doc again today and still nothing. Since my body is not wanting to help bring this baby to earth, I will have another appointment on friday. On Friday we will see what the deal is and the latest the doc will let me wait is till Sunday night. That is the line in the sand, the longest this pregnancy can go!!! YEAH! So on Friday, or Easter sunday we will be venturing to the hospital to meet our son, we have so patiently been waiting for. If anything changes in the mean time I will make a new post. But, from the looks of things....... we are just planning on Sunday. Also I really want to get newborn pictures, if anyone has any photographers that you would like to recommend please let me know~!

Here is a short and sweet baby update...... Well this little guy in my belly, doesn't want to come out! I think he might be to comfortbale, up in my rib cage..... But, his mother is not so happy. I went to the doctor today and still no sign of labor, he is still really high in my belly and no dialation. SO.. good news I go back into the doctor tommorrow to decide if we want to wait this out a little bit longer, or if I need to be induced. So keep posted, and we will let everyone know what this baby's deal is! Maybe he wants to be born next Christmas?

I am super picky about little boy clothes, just ask my family and friends they know all about it! ha ha. They have to look like big boy clothes or he just is not going to wear it! Yesterday Our little Niece Sara Sagebin was born. She is so cute', and so small, she is 5lbs 10oz. She was born a few weeks early, but is just perfect!!! I kept saying to myself as soon as Rod and Clarice have their baby, I am just around the corner. Since she was born a few weeks early this gives me a little more time! But, it really made it real for Leo that we are going to have a baby soon. He wanted to stay at the hospital all day and play with the baby. He is going to be such a good dad. When we were at the hospital waiting for Rod and Clarice to have the baby, Leo was waiting outside the door...... just so he could hear the baby cry for the first time! I was to embarrased to be waiting in the hall with my ear to a Labor and Delivery room. He looked like some weirdo. HA. We have been taking child birthing classes at the hospital, and Leo has learned so much, everytime we get into a conversation about child birth, he throws out all these technical terms!!! He loves it, excpet for last week....... the last 20mins. of class we were learning relaxation stuff and they were teaching the husbands how to massage the wifes back when she is in labor.. Leo did it for about ten mins. right when I was RELAXED, Leo whispers in my ear..."I know why you signed me up for this class now" We both started laughing so hard, and ruined this relaxation time for the class!!!!!! I can't wait to have our baby!

The first of January we went to DISNEYLAND with the Sagebin Clan. It was so much fun we where in Califonia for a whole week. It was good to visit with Leo's sisiter Carol and her Kids. ( We never see them because they live in Missouri) Disneyland was a blast...... But not very prego friendly!! I love ridding the rides at disneyland, but this time because I am pregnant, I only rode a select few. I would watch all the kids while the adults went on rides. It was a funnysight, I wish I had a picture, I have a huge pregnant belly, a five month old baby(my neice Hannah) in a sling, while I pushed a two year old in a strolller. It was funny to see how people looked at me like I was some crazy baby machine. We also got to see our freinds Chad and Whitney, it was so much fun, Leo and I love Cali! We always talking about moving there, but lets be honest its just a dream! Here are some pictures from our fabulous vacation!!!!

Let me just start by saying my husband will NEVER attempt to cut anyones hair EVER AGAIN!

Leo and I were driving home one night and I asked Leo if when we got home he could give Dakota a bath. It was late, my husband got this bright idea......... He thought he could cut our dogs hair before he gave him a bath. I tried to convince him not to for 20 minuntes. I told him that cuting a dogs hair is not as easy as he thinks. He didn't listen to my advice and attempted to TRY and cut it. After an hour, Dakota came into our bedroom looking like this!!!!! Leo and I kept laughing cause he looked so funny. Leo appoligized over and over again, saying I should have listened to you, IT was NOT that EASY!!!!(if you can't tell he really butched our dogs hair!) It was a good laugh, we just have a cold hairless dog!!!

Well.... When we got home from Iowa we had tons of weeds, covering our whole yard. Since in our hood we have HOA fees and regulations we had to have our yard done by October 1st, or we would have to pay 1000.00 fine.(This post is Kinda Late!!) So this took us one week to get sprinklers and everything! I am so happy to say that our yard is finally done! It is really not much fun working in the yard when your pregnant, cause when I am done I am exhausted! Next year it will be fun to plant some flowers and stuff. It was to late in the year to spend money on flowers when they are just going to die!! YAH... Our baby will actually have somewhere to play outside!

We are having a baby BOY! We are so excited! Leo, my mom and I went to the doctors the other day and it was confirmed... It's a boy! This was the first ultrasound that Leo got to see the baby, he was so excited, he just kept asking, "what is that?" ha ha its not like ultrasounds are that unclear! during the ultrasound the baby was moving all over the place! Leo was so cute, he just kept giggling watching him break dance. As soon as the doctor annonced that it was a boy, Leo started yelling really loud, clapping and;cheering.(so loud I was embarassed by him)After when we were in the lobby checking out he called his dad, and I will not tell you what he was saying, let me just say..... I was even more embarassed in the lobby! We are so excited!!

Place your votes now! We find out a week from today what we are having! I am really excited to have another ultrasound, cause Leo has not seen the baby. The other ultrsounds my sister in law Clarice went with me because Leo was not home from Iowa yet. Leo can finally see that there really is a baby in my big round belly! Leo is convinced its a girl, and he keeps saying that he really wants a little princess! Even though Leo would love a princess, I can see him loving a little soccer buddy! I on the other hand an convinced its a boy, don't ask why... I just think it is. Well only time will tell.....

We are expecting!!!!! We went to the Dr. s a few days ago and we are having a baby. We had an ultra sound and got to hear the babies heart beat. We are just thrilled and couldn't be happier. In the ultra sound we saw the baby dancing around, not kidding the Samba of all dances it was weird!! ( Maybe cause its dad is Brazilian?) I want to scan in the ultra sound pics, but we don't have a scanner!! So when I find one I will post the pics.

So this summer, we were in North Dakota and 4 out of the 7 wives are PREGO. There was something special about that water there in North Dakota, cause all the girls found out they were expecting when they were there. They were all making baby stuff so i decided I would as well, just in case one day I need one. Here are a few of the many random baby things that I made. (ummmmm.... to my friends that are having babies CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!!)

So we decided since this summer we would be traveling we decided to get a puppy and train it on our temp apartments carpet. So that when we take him home he will not pee on our good carpet at home. Well..... on our 20 hour/ 3 day drive to Canada we had an accident!! To give you some background on the story, Clarice(my sister in law from Brazil), Danielle and I were driving to Canada. We were driving Danielle's little old Honda Civic.(its a baby car) anyway.... it was late, and it was dark, we were trying to make it to the next town so that we could get a hotel for the night. We were driving in the middle of... NO WHERE.... and we had been on this small two lane highway in the middle of the night for a really long time. It was really scary no cars ever drive on these roads!!! OK long story short it was raining, Clarice was driving, mind you they don't have deer that run in the middle of the road in Brazil! Well this deer was chilling on the side if the road and decided to run into the side of our car. Clarice was smart and just hit the deer instead of swerving so that we didn't die! But, Danielle's car is now dead!

So as you can tell the deer ran into us!! It ran right into the side of the car! NOT THE FRONT..... THE SIDE!!! Also good news we didn't kill the deer we just gave it a hair cut! Ha Ha very funny!

Well as most of you know I was pregnant! But When I went to the second doctors visit we received bad news. The baby's heart had stopped beating.... our baby has gone back to heaven. After crying for a week straight!!! I am now feeling better about the whole situation. I am just thankful for my wonderful husband who has been by my side and comforting me everyday. Leo is moving to Canada this summer and I was going to stay behind and finish a semester of school. Now, I can't even think of being away from him all summer. I have decided to go along with him. I am just waiting for approval from the nursing department so that I can take some of my generals online. We are going to plan another baby in about three months!! (hopefully everything will go well) Also we are looking for someone to stay in our house this summer and baby sit it! RENT is free if anyone is interested please let me know!

OK...... so we had a flood if you remember from my past post! Our house is DONE!!! It has been a long 4 months since the flood and its finally clean and no more workers. Here are some pictures of our home.

Puerto Rico

Um.. I uploaded the wrong pic and don't know how to delete it... so just love my hair!!! It looks great!OK.... I just have to start by saying that this was the best trip ever!!!!

It all started with a freaking bumpy flight! Also let me add that I hate flying. I freak out if the plane moves or turns or makes any random sounds! But, it was all worth it! I will just explain our trip day to day because it was so amazing I don't know where to start.

Day 1....

We went to down to San Juan and walked around the shops and ate some Puerto Rican food, it was great! Then we went to the beach! That night we went to a Bio Luminescent bay. We kayaked through a canal in the dark, for an hour. (in the jungle). Then we came to a lagoon, that has mirco organisms that when there is movement in the water, it glows in the dark!!! It was the coolest things we have ever seen. It was a blast, Leo was trying to kill us and run us into trees! I guess my husband can't really see in the dark!

Day 2...

We woke up at 5:00 am and drove 1 hour to catch a boat. We got to the port and there was a huge line of like 60 people. Since the boat only holds like 35 people we waited in line and didn't get on the boat. We decided that it would be fun to drive to the other side of the island to a beach that this old man was telling us about. So we drove 3 hours and got to the "beach" that was a cliff!!! So we just decided to drive around the island and see all the sights. We went to the rain forest, and at five 0' clock found a sandy beach! After that we were driving home.. It was Valentine's Day! We found a restaurant that looked casual, but nice. Because we were in our swim suits. Well we were really wrong!!!! It was a super nice restaurant!!! It was so funny we were in the only Americans, that spoke English, and everyone was dressed really nice and we were all salty and wet! It was a good laugh!

Day 3....

We decided to attempt the boat again!!! So we woke up really early again and drove all the way to the port again. We waited in line for 2 hours, because people were trying to bargain a $2.50 boat ticket! Well any way I was talking to this girl from new york and her friend was in line for another boat that was going to ANOTHER ISLAND. Well her friend bought us boat tickets so we could at least go to one of the islands. So we went to Flamenco beach, which is the ranked the 3rd nicest beach in the world! It was amazing!!!!! We took 1000 pictures of that beach! The sand was like laying on a cloud.

Day 4....

This was a sad day!! Because we were leaving the island!! We went shopping and went to the airport. Our plane was delayed for mechanical problems! The engine was not responding when the plane landed. So they cancelled the flight. Later that day the flight did leave. But we had already missed our connecting flight. So they we would have been stuck in Texas for 2 days. So we decided that we didn't really feel comfortable flying on a plane with a broken engine! And we would rather be stuck in Puerto Rico than Texas. So..... our bags were sent to Texas and we only had one pair of clothes. Well we found a K-mart and bought the necessary things that we would need for 3 days.......... Well let me just say this... I think we needed more than a swim suit!!

This is all that we had for three days!!! And the clothes that we wore to the airport!!

Day 5....

Well our airline gave us a hotel for the night, But today we were on our own. We rented a car and drove the the boat again!! This time we got on no problem! We went to a small island, it was so fun! When we got there all the hotels were sold out... except this cute little hotel. It was so fun! We went to the beach and went swimming.

Day 6...

We went to this beach where there was wild HORSES running around!!! It was so cool! But it was a little bit scary to lay out, thinking that those were galloping all over the beach.

Day 7....

This day we were very adventurous... We rented a Kayak, and headed to the seas. We picked up a new hobby!!! We went to small little islands and wondered around! We also went snorkeling! It was awesome.

Day 8....

I am glad this was a rainy day. Cause we had leave.. I had to go back to school and Leo had to go back to work!! We took the boat back and goo thing my cute husband got me motion sickness medication because I would have been vomiting all over the place. Then we came home!!!!

It was so much fun!!!! I love vacations, because I get to spend quality time with my husband!!!!

1 year Anniversary...

Well its almost our one year anniversary. We got married Feb 16, 2008. This has been the best year of our lives! I Love my husband so much, he really is my greatest blessing and don't know what I would do without him. I am the luckiest woman alive! I am posting this on my blog early because we are going to Puerto Rico for our anniversary. (and everyone was telling me to update my blog.) I have been so busy with school, I am sorry!! As most of you know you never see us! I am so nervous to go to Puerto Rico, I have never been there! If someone knows what its like please let me know! Well since I have not up dated my blog for a while here is the update:

Our house is almost done. It has taken forever! So FYI never let your house flood!

I just had my 21st birthday. So know I can buy alcohol! Kidding!

Everyone I know is having a baby!! (except me).....

I have have survived some of the nursing program.

Leo is moving again this summer, and I can't go! So we have to commute(by plane) every weekend! I am so bummed, because there are so many cool wives going this year.

I quit my job, and they convinced me to only work Mondays!!

I discovered my husband loves random weekend getaways.. to Vegas, Wendover and our last minute trip that we booked yesterday to Puerto Rico.

And the best thing that has happened in the past few weeks, is that I have been married for 1 year, to the most amazing person in the world.

Last night I came home from work and my house was flooded. All three floors had more than two inches of water and the basement had about six inches of water.... everything is ruined! The sad part is we have only lived there for two weeks! Our walls our floors and the framing all need to be replaced! I am so thankful for my serving neighbors that came to help cause I didn't even know how or where to turn the water off! ( and Leo was gone on a business trip) But about 30 people from our new ward came and helped us move all of our furniture out, and rip up all the carpet, vacuum up the water. I will have to post pictures of before our new house got flooded and after! Sad... Sad day. But on the bright side of things we are moving home with our parents.

We just got home from our Hawaiian Vacation!! It was a blast. We went with Leo's work! It was a relaxing vacation.. that was much needed! All the wives got massages while the guys had a meeting and then it was just laying out, surfing, and a lot of shopping! When we arrived home we had great news awaiting............... Tonight we put an offer on our first home! We are so excited!(hopefully they accept it) Leo and I are stuck in Utah for ever now! It is really scary buying a home, but on the bright side we were waisting all our money on rent! Now we can have room to have little Sagebin's. We have not yet been to Hawaii, we had to delay because of conference. We should be leaving next week. This will be a much needed vacation. Then maybe....... maybe I will finally get a job when we get home.

We are leaving Washington tomorrow morning!! I can't wait to leave our spider infested apartment! We have one new pet, a giant black widow. This one is alive and Leo is determined to take this one home! We will be home for one whole day and than we are off to the island of Hawaii with Leo's work! Than we can finally enjoy normal life! I can't wait to have a job! I feel so useless.

Well just a quick update about what we have been up to..... I have been selling door to door with Leo! I don't think I could ever do it on my own! He is a trooper, Also Leo and I have 4 new pets! They are 4 spiders that we captured on our patio! We have a really nice cage for them (an apple sauce jar) and we feed them moths and other spiders. We HAD a black widow.... but the poor thing was in there for 5 minutes. This little spider we have nickname da killer (we thought he was harmless) has been killing all our spiders and drinking all their blood till they shrivel up! Leo is so cute, every morning he wakes up and checks on them. When he comes home at night he watches them for at least 20 minutes and feeds them!!! But I told him not to get to attached because we are not taking killer spiders home with us! AND we are coming home next week! I am excited to come home! I love Washington so much, when Leo and I are old we are moving to Washington and Living on a orchard. So in twenty years if you need to know where we are, somewhere in Washington on a orchard.

Yesterday Leo and I went to a diary farm. It was smelly, but really fun. My friend Andrea grew up on this cute little farm in the country here in Washington. It was fun to see how much work goes into a gallon of milk! Anyway after we looked at the farm we went jet skiing on the Columbia River. It was such a blast! It was a lot different than jet skiing on a lake, because you could drive down the river for hours and explore. I also got to play with Caiden, and Addy(Chris and Andrea's really really cute kids!). Today is that last day of summer! If we wanted we could leave! BUT.... Leo really loves his job and wants to stay for another month! He is nuts, he really wants to make his goal of 260 sales. I am fine with it, I love Washington! And some good news to my fellow friends that just moved to the islands... Leo won the trip to Hawaii today! I am so excited! I think we are coming some time in October!

My poor Husband worked so hard this summer, knocking door to door everyday. He would come home so tired and he would still always have energy to do what ever I wanted to do every night! Trust me after walking all day I know the last thing he wanted to do was play tennis, go on walks and go shopping. Everyday he would still give me all his extra time and energy! All his hard work has payed off we are looking back at the summer and enjoyed every minute of it! It was such a blessing! And I am thankful we decided to do summer sales!

Benton County Fair and Rodeo..

Leo come home from work early yesterday and took me to the Fair and the Rodeo. It was a blast. We were laughing the whole time. Just a few fun stories from last night.. Leo and I were late to the Rodeo. We are walking up this huge set of bleachers and there was only one spot left to sit....... AND some kid had Vomited all over three rows of the bleachers.( It was disgusting) But some lady behind us just started wiping it up with her hands and everyone was just staring and laughing at this poor lady.. I really don't think she knew what it was or she wouldn't have wiped it up with her bare hands. The worst part was she went and sat down with her family and started eating. (without washing her hands). I forgot how gross fairs were..But they sure are fun/funny.

The picture above is another funny story. This is what I call legal child abuse.. I guess here in Washington. Well what happens is you buy your child a nice helmet, strap you child to a sheep and make the sheep run like lighting. It is hilarious. But kind of sad! The poor kids just hold on for dear life until they fall off. (that is why they wear helmets).

My cute husband was like a little kid at the fair. Not only did he want to ride the poor little sheep, he wanted to ride the rides and insisted on having ice cream. He is so cute!

We also had a chance to finally go to the river. We went on a walk and played one on one volleyball and soccer.. It was a blast!! We love Washington and Leo and I are going to hopefully come sell here next summer.

I went to Utah once again... and this time I had to go with out my husband! It was good to see my Family, but I missed Leo. Leo forgot how to function while I was gone. He Slept at the guys apartment and ate out every night and enjoyed sleepless nights of HALO! I am so happy I am back! Leo and I are now planning all our summer vacations now that we are almost done! Leo has won 2 cruises! Also when Leo got over 100 sales we decided to plan an end of summer sales trip.... Leo left me in charge of that! So we are going to Ecuador for a few weeks to work in an orphanage! Its not Leo's ideal beach bathing vacation(not that he really needs a tan) , but he is excited. However I loved being home with my family! I have had something fun to do everyday. Um I think after this weekend I really really want a baby. Because I went to Melissa's baby shower, I also got to visit Andrea and her new baby boy Caiden! AND....................................... I think I really, really, really want a baby! Oh and last weekend I cut off all my hair! I will post a picture when I decide that I really need batteries for my camera. And we have bad news my two best friends are moving to HAWAII! When Danielle comes home she is going to move in with Leo and I and watch our baby.. (MAYBE) ha ha! I will miss you gals enjoy and don't skin cancer! I WILL NOT have wrinkled baby sitters!

Well I found out today that Leo's work is moving us to Washington for the rest of the summer! I am excited.. and a little nervous at the same time. Some of the gals here are from Washington. They gave me some tips on what to do there in my spare time (because as most of you know I have a ton of that). They only gave me two options, "the mall and the river" and I was really excited about the whole river thing till my friend Andrea who is from Washington, told me well "there is a huge river right by where you are going to live. Its like a mile wide!!!" UM I don't think i will be floating down this river it I might never come home. Not only is it a mile wide but I will have no idea where I am. So...... this week we are really busy. We had such a short notice to pack and on top of that, I am studding for my Nursing Entrance Exam that I have to take on Tuesday morning in Salt Lake, and I have my interview that same day..That night we are on our long 15 hr. journey to the unknown state of Washington.

Summer Sales

Well as you know we are in Las Vegas for the summer, but we come home in a month and a half. I am very excited! I don't know who would want to live in a really really hot place! You walk outside at midnight and it is still 100 degrees. I really think Leo is insane for knocking door to door in this weather here. We Just celebrated Leo getting 100 sales.. Congrats to him. It has been a great summer here but we miss our families, and we are ready to have a normal life again. Leo is still going to sell... for some weird reason he loves it! And as for me , I am hopefully going to start nursing school.

Leo and I were looking at some old pictures of us in high school.. And it was funny to see us then and now.. We are still amazed at how it all turned out.... From high school sweethearts to, ummm I guess you would say, happily ever after.

Wedding

Well it has been 130 years since I have added anything to my blog... Nothing new in HOT Las Vegas.

Leo and I just got back from a week vacation with our families. It was great to see them. We had alot to do while we were there.. like weddings weddings and more wedding stuff. Fernanda and Jake got married and Rod and Clarice. It was all fun and games till i had a tooth ache and had to have tooth surgery. But don't worry I am Ok! So that is the latest update. Short and sweet. I will post pictures of the last three weeks in a few days..

We are in our new home here in "Sin City" it is fun. But really really hot. I have come to a really great concudsion.. I know why they call it sin city, because I see lots of half naked people everywhere! I went to my new school to registar today and I have never seen so many fake boobs and mini skirts in my life!!! But oh well.. I just might need to change some things around to fit in down here.. Just kidding! But everything is going good! I really need to hang out with a girl, being with seven boys all day long, in the sun knocking doors, and selling security systems with my husband is not what I really had in mind. But my friend Danielle is coming down on monday and tuesday to visit and then Andrea should be down soon for a month or so and then I will be saved! SO what I am trying to say is come visit!
